WebNov 26, 2011 · Never use a wire wheel to clean any part of the VES valve. I’ve never heard of using loctite on the nut, but I don’t use it. As far as applying oil, the VES vales get plenty of oil. Look at the cluchting also, if anything is broke or warn out. have you tried a new belt when it happens. Sometimes loose weights or messed up rollers will cause it.

WebNov 22, 2008 · On inspection of the power valve blades on both sleds they are not the same. The long edge of the chisel point on the blade is up on the EFI and down on the Carb. The Arctic cat dealers can't seem to agree on valve position. Two dealers told me to position the long edge up and one dealer told me to position it down.
