Web15 Jan 2008 · The tubular cast OFF, the subject of today's post is done exactly in reverse, also in three phases: Phase 1 is the 1x1 ribbing, Phase 2 consists of four double-knitting foundation rows (created exactly like the four double-knitting foundation rows of the cast-ON) and Phase 3 consists of two parts: Webtubular aka italian bind off is hands down the most gorgeous and flawless 1x1 ribbing bind off. It does take a little effort, but the results are so much worth it--springy, smooth, and beautiful--the knitting just looks like it... starts. All on it's own, poof: knitting. It also has a cast on version for maximum symmetry!
