Web29 ago 2024 · I'm thinking about buying a set of BFG All-Terrain T/A KO2 31x10.50R15 Tires for an un-lifted TJ. Some people are saying these will work no spacers, some are saying I'll need spacers, some are saying I can put 33's on no problem. I went wheeling last weekend with the new 35" BFG KO2's with a 2.5" front level but no rear lift. If you value your rear fenders, they will not fit with the stock bump stops. I had to back out as the rear tires were wedged against the stock flairs. It is a wonder they didn't break.

They are fine for heavier pickup trucks, but will give harsher ride on lighter vehicles like the Jeep. So the fact that BFG is going to be making the KO2s in the Rubicon stock tire size at load range C is a good thing.

Since you do a lot of highway driving as well I'd recommend you stick with 10.5" over 12.5" You'd need to add quite a bit of bump to make 35's work without hitting the fenders.
