WebWe go in Sept. a lot and most of the time the road is open till Oct. based on weather. It seems last season they closed it Sept. 15 to do the repairs. I don't know how much they were able to get done before bad weather. As it gets closer to your trip, probably beginning of August they should post it on the web site on the NPS Glacier site.
